Stay Away

Before I get started, let me just say that this is a parody of  The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s hit single, “Stay,” but with a humorous twist – the title of my parody song is actually the opposite! This was completely unintentional but when I finally realized it, I could not help but laugh 😆 Until recently, I had never heard of the artist known as Kid LAROI. Upon doing some  research, however, I found that he has made quite a name for himself in recent years with his unique blend of rap and pop music. It’s no wonder why he has become so popular in such a short amount of time!

Initially, I was not a fan of Justin Bieber’s music because of his higher pitched voice and style of music, especially when he was younger. However, as time passed, my opinion has changed and I have come to appreciate his music. I want to be absolutely clear that this satirical take of Justin Bieber is created with the sole intention of providing humor and should in no way be interpreted as offensive. My aim is simply to craft an amusing piece of writing for the reader’s enjoyment. Please keep this in mind while reading for a more enjoyable experience.

[Chorus]
Gotta get away, from your face
Radio is playing all your songs
I can’t take it no more, I am out of here
I don’t need this kind of stress

[Verse 1]
Stay away from me, don’t come near
I don’t need your singing in my ear
Your voice is too high for me to take
So just stay away and give me some space

[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, ooh-no (Oh, ooh-no, ooh-no)
Oh, ooh-no (Oh, ooh-no, ooh-no)
Oh, ooh-no (Oh, ooh-no, ooh-no)
So just stay away and give me some space

[Chorus]
Gotta get away, from your face
Radio is playing all your songs
I can’t take it no more, I am out of here
I don’t need this kind of stress

Gotta get away, from your face
Radio is playing all your songs
I can’t take it no more, I am out of here
I don’t need this kind of stress

[Verse 2]
Your auto tune just makes me cringe
And your lyrics make me lose my mind
I’m gonna turn away and find some peace
This noise is not what I need

[Bridge]
I can’t take it, no it’s too much
Can’t take your high pitched singing
So just stay away, that’s my plea
I am done with Justin Bieber

[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, ooh-no (Oh, ooh-no, ooh-no)
Oh, ooh-no (Oh, ooh-no, ooh-no)
Oh, ooh-no (Oh, ooh-no, ooh-no)
So just stay away and give me some space

[Chorus]
Stay away from me, don’t come near
I don’t need your singing in my ear
Your voice is too high for me to take
So just stay away and give me some space

Stay away from me, don’t come near
I don’t need your singing in my ear
Your voice is too high for me to take
So just stay away and give me some space

[Outro]
No-oh
So just stay away and give me some space

Thank you for reading, Vanessa! 🙂 I think that’s what we would call a “mashup” which is a mix of 2 different songs with melodies that compliment each other. JB’s song “Stay” always plays on the radio and it’s been stuck in my head as of late. I’m terrible with remembering lyrics and often make up my own. I can’t remember the original lyrics to songs if my life depended on it lol 😂

People were so hard on Justin Bieber when he was a teenager making music for younger girls like any decent looking kid would.

Like, he just hadn’t hit puberty vocally and needed to grow into his voice and grown men were calling him a girl and gay. Especially since he wasn’t shaped like Chuck Norris, girls (around HIS age) liked him, and he was thin.

Anyway, I just wanted to rant about it.

Even though I was born in the generation that the music kinda was from, Justin Bieber kinda was something that’d get you bullied. Some popular girls liked him, but if you weren’t, you were weird. It’s like enjoying Twilight at that time. Anyway, I’ve never heard Stay in my life.

Most songs I know by him, he’s an adult.

Even then, it was amusing poetry to read.

When I was a teenager, JB was popular. He was just a kid back then, and I was one of those people who was part of the group that did not like his music. I didn’t care that other people felt differently – I mean, the music I listened to was probably weird to a lot of people.

For instance, I listened to instrumental music (mainly soundtracks) and anime OSTs. This was before LoFi was a thing, which I listen to these days. It helps me focus and prefer it over mainstream music. However, songs with lyrics are fun to turn into parodies lol Thanks for reading and commenting!

😂 That’s funny how that was considered “strange” back then when it’s overhyped.

I listened to vocaloids and steered clear from anything else anime because I couldn’t get into it nor really found an interest to it. I have friends in majority of my spaces I was in that liked those. I still don’t really care for either.

I can say the “nerd”/“emo” vs “popular” thing I had to hear as a child and teen was very annoying because I didn’t like any of the groups and forced myself to be apart of it. Talking in person is worse, probably why I was online majority of time (and suffered).

I do not like Justin Bieber at all. It was just a throwback hearing his name. I took a trip back to elementary school and middle school which I hate with a passion. ☺️

I listened to Vocaloid too, and as for anime, I only watched subbed anime – not the dubbed kind except for a couple of popular ones like Naruto and Death Note. I still like listening to Naruto soundtracks, especially the instrumental ones (no lyrics). The nice thing about Vocaloid is that I didn’t understand a word they were saying except for the odd Japanese word – at the time I was trying to learn Japanese but I have given up on that since then.

hahaha well I can assure you that his music is not nearly as bad as what it used to be. I can tolerate it but I certainly don’t love his music. Most radio music is a waste of time in my humble opinion. I get stuck listening to radio music when driving to and from work – only reason I stumbled upon this “gem.” 😆😂

I don’t mind mainstream music but I prefer not to listen to it at all.

Vocaloid has updated so much that now they have different languages and many characters.

What genres of anime do you like?

I like the more feminine and adult ones, because they’re more realistic and have small communities that aren’t toxic—if they exist. Typically I’m more into manga. I like josei and seinen type manga, but I’ve read shōnen and shōjo. The worst manga I read was Black Butler—which so happens to be one of my least favorite anime. Hetalia was unfortunately a waste of my time—but I never got into the manga. My favorite manga is Bunny Drop (hated the ending), Nana, and this other one I can’t remember. I also liked the energy for Kimi wa Pet.
