I’m not going to sugarcoat it: July sucked!!
I try to look for silver linings or find small moments of calm in the chaos of everyday life while trying my hardest to remain stoic—even though I’m not very good at it. But this… this hits differently. This month, everything has been tested to the absolute limit. I’ve always used this space to connect and process the messy parts of being human, but sometimes a door shuts so hard that the noise leaves you completely frozen in the dark. I’m not ready or willing to share the specific details of everything that went down between us and the agency—or the local clinic, for that matter. All I can say is that this month, a deeply meaningful chapter of our journey was slammed shut in our faces, and we didn’t choose that.
It was a hope we held for a tiny spark of life waiting in the quiet frost. After filling pages with written promises and sweet nothings, the other party simply ghosted us when it mattered most, leaving us completely abandoned without any involvement or explanation. This hurts deeply, and being left in the dark only makes it harder. I am turning off comments on this post because I do not have the emotional capacity to reply to the comments. Right now, I need to protect my peace as we continue to grieve this unimaginable loss.

You can read all of my other poems and parodies here. Some still need to be rewritten and re-uploaded. I hope that you enjoy my poetry as much as I enjoyed writing it! (◡‿◡✿)
P.S. If you enjoy my work and want to support us, a small donation means the world to me. This unexpected situation has cost us thousands, so every little bit helps.🌸☕💞

Thanks for stopping by! ♥
